The Business Travel Association (BTA) is the UK’s leading representative body for the business travel industry. They advocate for travel management companies and their clients, promoting efficient and sustainable travel. They are a leading voice for the Business Travel Sector for audiences ranging from university graduates to industry experts.
I incorporated illustration to elevate the BTA’s white papers and infographics by simplifying complex information, making it more engaging and accessible. The goal was to establish a distinctive visual identity for the brand that was recognisable and consistent, reinforcing BTA’s innovative image.
As a thought leader, the BTA is deeply focused on people, communicating the value of the Travel Management sector to clients. The aim was to highlight the importance of this sector and the diverse range of jobs it offers. These people-focused illustrations embody this message by placing people and community at the heart of the brand, showcasing the wide variety of roles within the industry.
I designed the white-papers with bold headings and a clean, two-column layout for easy navigation and readability. Clear breakers highlighted visuals, and the bespoke illustrations added a cohesive touch.
These visuals became the face of the BTA's brand, and have become crucial in illustrating and addressing key issues and information within the sector. The outcomes include illustrated front covers, white-paper design, infographics, flyers and banners for events across the country.
